Self Care Practises To Balance Your Nervous System

Join KC Dechaud to learn how to self-soothe, self-regulate and navigate the stress of life without alcohol.

KC Dechaud is a Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor, and Restorative Therapist. For over 10 years now she has had the privilege of working side by side with women and supporting them on their life journey.

When asked why she chose to specialise in woman’s psychology, she replied “I believe the work chose me. My personal life experiences and the clients that sought me out all had an underlying theme in common, that is, woman finding their strength through life changes and transitions. It isn’t always easy to find our feet in this world and sometimes life can overwhelm us, but I truly believe that with the right support and self-reflection, every woman has the ability to THRIVE.”

The therapeutic techniques she draws on in her work include the following:

– Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

– Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

– Psychodynamic Therapy

– Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

– Energy Psychology

In addition to talk therapy, KC is a strong believer in the effectiveness of movement and meditation in the release of trauma from the body. Through her qualifications, she understands how we can use our bodies to balance our nervous system and come into equilibrium. So many women today are wired and tired. They are stressed, anxious, and stretched beyond their means. However, there is another way. During our time together she hopes to share some daily practices which can bring you into your equilibrium and support you in finding inner stillness.
